I still haven't uploaded our pics from our Bohol & Cebu vacation. I can't seem to find time to sort thru 1500++ pics from our almost 2 weeks of vacation. I have two cameras my dslr and my trusty canon powershot which I turned into an underwater camera by buying a ziplock type underwater case, but I didn't get to hold it for a quarter of the time that we were there...but that's fine...haha...that means more pics of me in it hahaha...

Meanies celebrated its fourth year yesterday (from the beginning of our Psoft & Natural Training). Although not all of us are in Manila right now... I'm really glad that I had these peeps as my batchmates...

To Dream or not to dream...

Sky cable is removing some of my favorite channels on its line up... huhu.... C&S, etc & etc 2nd ave. I'm not sure if the channels that they added will have the series that Ive been watching...oh well that's why I'm contemplating if I will switch to Dream Satellite, for about 200 Php more per month, I'll still have the channels that I frequently watch plus a lot more...But I'm still not sure if it will be a good choice or not.

Should I or should I not switch?


I finally bought a router for our house! Finally I can connect to the internet without boxing out other people from the cable. Hehe.


I was back working again. I was a little rusty haha...and I still have a hang over from the long vacation that I took. But its business as usual for me. 

Starting tomorrow October 22, 2007 you can only reach me thru my cell phone because I will be on vacation, out of town! Yay! I won't be back until November 1, 2007. For urgent work matters please do not even attempt to contact me hahaha!!!! There's only one valid reason to contact me about work...and I don't think that's possible anymore...darn! Those policies suck! hehe

Well, before I leave...I'll just make a summary of what happened during the last few days that I'm back in Manila...

When I arrived last Monday, my parents and I went to Marina in Roxas Blvd to eat oysters, shrimp & sago't gulaman! Yum!

When I was finally home I learned that I'll be having my own room! Yay! I used to have one (I even painted it blue...all by myself! hehe) then my sister and I shared a room and now I'll be having my own room again. Yay! Sure it will cost me but it's worth it! I even helped in painting the cabinets and the walls! And I enjoyed doing that...I love watching those house decorating and house flipping back in the US! It's just fun to work on something that you can see the end result of it.

My dad celebrated his birthday yesterday. He waited for my return so I will pay for his celebration haha! Well it was fun. I have to wake up early to help in the cooking and other preparations and I also went to the market...not the supermarket kind of market but the wet market or talipapa. It's been a long time since I was there...but nothing changed...except for the prices of course.

I met up with Jamih & Jeng last Friday. We went to MOA. Hehe. We just ate at Pancake House and strolled a little and tried to catch up on things...

Cleveland Indians lost again! Series tied 3-3! Darn! I'm hoping they'll win Game 7 so that they'll be in the World Series against Colorado Rockies. Sigh...the timing is really really great *sarcasm*...why does it has to happen when I'm already out of Colorado?! Darn!

I still have to arrange my luggage, my new room and my things for tomorrow...and I'm still enjoying my vacation...

We'll I'll be signing off for now....hehe...

 

Haha! Sounds like a concert title or something...No, I'm not having a concert here...haha...wishing!

I'm staying here for the night because we missed our connection flight to Manila. We had to have an Emergency Stop Over at Edmonton, Canada because there's this lady on the plane that was having a heart attack and needs medical attention. But she's feeling better when we left Canada, thank God. :)

The airline provided us with GC, bonus miles, hotel accommodation and a $50 discount coupon for a round-trip fare...so I really have no qualms about the delay. Plus...at least I got to have a chance to "visit" Japan outside the airport...I had a layover here for the 3 round-trip flights that I had taken but I never had a chance to go out and wander around...

We'll this is as close to wandering around Japan that I can get...the plane leaves tomorrow at 9:35 am which means we have to leave the hotel at 7am.  But still It's better than just staying at the airport....baby steps...hehe

Probably later I will take some pictures :) I will just have some shut eye and rest for a while...tomorrow's another day...

 

I'm sitting here at the Minneapolis Airport...watching abc shows online since I have a 6 hour layover....

In a few hours...I'll be home...maybe for a while, maybe for a long time...it's pretty unsure...but I know for sure is I'll always come home :)

What I'm excited about my trip back home is that I would have the chance to really be with my family. My last two trips back home were really really short, I really didn't have the chance to spend some QT with my friends and family. So when I come back, we're going to Bohol for a long vacation...and I really really need a break from work and stress....to think things through...

My assignment here in the US was a blast, the whole 11 months of it. Yah sometimes it's sad and I feel home sick at times wishing that I brought a little piece of home with me....but after some time I got used to living alone, it's only during the time that I know that I'll be coming home soon, that I got to be homesick again.

This experience is really fun and I'm thankful for the opportunity, the learnings and the people I met along the way....not to mention the sweet payoff...

I'm not sure if I will be back here in the US, so even if it costs money I made sure that I made the most out of this trip. I watched concerts, went on a vacation on other states...shopped for gadgets till I dropped haha! But who knows when I'll be back it maybe sooner or never haha!

***I used up 15,000 miles to upgrade to World Business Class....hehe...it's a lot of miles to spend...but hey...I just want to pamper myself a little :P I'm already in full vacation mode here...haha
