Today...is my baby Ira's b-day....bought date or be-mine date or something.... It's now 2 years that I have my guitar, although, almost 11 months of it, I spent far away from Ira....but then again, I know that our reunion will be sweet, just a few more days! I recorded 2 out of my 3 songs with Ira, my original song and my vertical horizon cover...Aside from the unfortunate micro/minor cracks, he's still in pretty good condition. And I want to make sure that it stays that way. -oOo-
4 more nights and I'll be on my way home...Yay! -oOo-
Hmmm...I'm tad confused right now....I thought I already have everything straightened out....but then again, I could be wrong...Oh well, we'll see.... -oOo-
I'm currently listening to Matchbox 20's new album...I told myself I will buy the album when I come back home, but then again, my EQ dropped 100 points, the moment I saw it on Target, I know I just have to buy the album! hehe.

Being a sleepy head sometimes, I always had a pack of gum handy. But this time, I forgot to refill my stash, and I'm just sleepy that I went to the vendo machine to buy me a gum. I have 2 choices...Wrigley's Juicy Fruit gum & Dentyne Classic. I haven't tried Dentyne so I inserted my 1 dollar bill on the machine and pressed H2. Happy with my buy...I quickly opened the package and tried one gum. And what I didn't notice is that it was a Cinnamon Flavored Gum...Yah...it was really weird...Don't get me wrong I love cinnamon, but I love them better on a cinnamon roll...definitely not on a gum!
But then again, I know I have to consume all of these gum sticks (it cost me 60 cents! hehe and I don't want to buy a new one)...so as days passed my 7 gum sticks became non existent. Even with its weird taste and smell, I was able to finish a pack.
Reminds me of life in general. Through all adversities we easily adapt and just endure it till it's gone, and somehow we find ourselves loving it or making the most out of it, or just sticking it out till the good one comes along. Or it can mean that we usually settle for something we don't want just because it's safer, it's cheaper, or we're afraid to try new things which is somehow un-secure and out of our comfort zones.
Well as for me I have endured my cinnamon flavored gum. I finished one pack...and that's it. I have endured it's weirdness, but that doesn't mean I will go back and buy a new one. I'll buy a better one...I might try out other gums which in the end is also weird...but that's fine with me, I'll stick it out until I finish the pack and buy a new gum. I'll move on even if it is un-secure and totally out of my comfort zone just because I want to believe that I don't settle for anything less for myself.

Last Saturday...we went to the only mountain zoo in America hehe...
I drove on the way there! I used Mapquest to get the directions and it's really really confusing and I don't know if that's correct, because I don't think I followed their suggested direction (based on the street names specified on the map against the actual street we are driving on). Hehe...But we got there....safely! Yay!
It was nice...I've never seen a lot of different animals in my life. And it's a good cardio exercise also. Lots of walking and climbing stairs/hills. After that we went to the Shrine of the Sun which is almost at the top of the mountain. Nice view up there....calming...
Most of the pictures are out of focus though....but I'm still learning how to use Cap. :)

The lion cubs are cute too...too bad I wasn't able to get good shots...we're far away from the glass cage, plus the sun is playing tricks on us. Hehe...

I want one! Yeah it's more expensive...for the price of the 16gig iPod Touch you can buy a160 gig iPod classic. But it's touch screen! With WiFi!!! hehe...Do you still need more convincing? So this is better! It's like having the iPhone without the phone haha.
